What is Monat Global All About?

Monat is a Multi Level Company Based in Doral, Florida that is in the business of selling skincare and hair care products to consumers. It is a family company founded by Luis Urdaneta and his son Ray Urdaneta in year 2014. They also owned a Corporation called Alcora which is the main umbrella of their other businesses in the beauty and wellness industry such as the B&R Products, L’Eudine and Project Beauty.

The name MONAT is short for “Modern Nature” and they pride their company with the philosophy defining success as being able to help others become successful as well. Their products are naturally based and claim to have a rewarding business opportunity.

Since its inception in year 2014, they have been expanding and thriving continuously in their own respects. With the skincare and hair care products being in a very competitive market, they manage to also include what is called MONAT Pet which is a product for… yes you guessed it for Pets. In my opinion, I am not sure if that would be a good inclusion to their product lines but we should see in the years to come…

How Exactly Does Monat MLM Works?

In this question, we will focus on their business opportunity if you were to become a Market Partner selling Monat Products. The initial price for joining is $99 with an annual subscription fee of $49.99 and you will get what’s called the MONAT Starter Kit.

With this Kit, you will get training and marketing materials to help you get started with the business along with product samples that you can share with your friends. As a Market Partner, you will enjoy a discount of 30% off the retail prices which you can then turn around and make it a profit if you were to sell those same products to your customers at regular prices.

There is no doubt that you will get all the resources you need to effectively sell Monat Products but one important thing to really keep in mind is that you must love the products in order to successfully sell it to others. Ask yourself a question if you were a consumer, will you buy these products from Monat or will you be able to find similar products with better prices somewhere else?

One example that I don’t quite understand is why you can find the same product in Amazon at a much cheaper price for the same product that Monat has? This one in particular is called “Rejuveniqe Oil Intensive”. As you can see from the picture below, the original price is $99 and even if you are a VIP Customer which brings it down to $84, it is still so much higher than the price you see in Amazon.

This pricing difference will make it so hard for you to sell Monat products to your prospective customers no matter how good you are since they will be able to easily find it at a cheaper price in Amazon. As you can see from the picture below, the same product is also being sold by Monat? Why are they able to do that? It seems to me that the better option is probably become an affiliate of Amazon because you will have millions of products you can market to your customers.

The difference though is that you have 4% to 10% commission for Amazon while the Monat is stating you can get up to 30% commission. Think about this for a moment though because in my opinion, there is not a lot of people that will buy at a much higher price for the same exact product! That is the trouble there that I see in promoting Monat products. I will not question the quality of their products as I know the opinions will vary and you would either like it or not.

What Makes Monat Global Different From Other MLM Companies?

If you haven’t done research on MLM companies, it is a good idea to do so because you never know if you might like one of them and venture into their business opportunity. The majority of MLM companies are not bad but they are just getting a bad rap sometimes when they are being compared to a Pyramid Scheme.

I don’t see a unique distinction of Monat Global from other MLM Companies that stands out because one thing for sure no matter which one you pick is that you will still have a lot of hard work to do such as selling and recruiting. This is a Multi Level Marketing business model after all and the more people you bring in to the company, the more you can build your down line.

A quick YouTube search will reveal a whole bunch of compensation plan explanation and as appealing as it is, what you really need to be asking yourself is how successful are you going to be selling Monat Products given the fact that these products can also be found at a much cheaper price in Amazon.

Is Monat A Pyramid Scheme?

The definition of a Pyramid Scheme is if a business is operating in a way that only recruits members via a promise of payments but does not have products or services that they offer to consumers. It is illegal in the US and other countries as well.

Monat on the other hand is NOT a pyramid scheme because they have legit products that people buy. They are a Multi Level Marketing (MLM) company of which you earn money by selling Monat Products as well as building your down line and earning a share of your down line’s successful selling.

Growing list of BBB complaint about Monat MLM Company

As with any other businesses, it is normal to have complaints but when you get so many complaints in a short period of time and the company is not responding quite enough then that tells you something that there are more bad than good.

Upon looking at the Better Business Bureau, at the time of this writing, there are already 1,023 total complaints in the last 3 years alone. One of which is complaining about having hair loss and itchy scalp. This person had requested refund.

This goes to show that the Monat Products are not for everybody and if you are thinking about joining Monat business, perhaps envision yourself first in how you would sell these to consumers when they can get the same exact products at a cheaper price in Amazon and not all of them will result in a sale because as you can see there are consumers who will likely not benefit and will ask refunds just like this person who made a complaint through the Better Business Bureau.

Monat Products Pricing Are They Worth Buying?

The example I have compared above for the product called “Rejuveniqe Oil Intensive” that has a pricing tag of $99 but you can also find it in Amazon for $34.99 that tells you the trouble right there which means it is very hard to sell if you were to become a Monat Partner and join the business.

If the Monat Products were to be exclusive and you won’t be able to find it anywhere else cheaper, then that would probably make it worthwhile to sell.

Can You Really Make Money With Monat MLM?

Yes you can and they have a good compensation plan of which they tell you that you can earn up to 30% commission on retail sales along with other benefits and bonuses. When that time comes and you have to decide, please do your thorough research and consider the main point of this article I have stated above which is the fact that you can find the same products in Amazon at a much cheaper prices.

This makes it very difficult to sell Monat Products to your prospective customers. Chances are you will encounter a lot of these products and services in your search for ways to make money, and my suggestion is choose carefully so that you may land to the one you are looking for.

• Despite being in a very competitive market place of skincare and health care products, they manage to continue expanding continuously.

What I Didn’t Like

• Growing number of complaints through the Better Business Bureau.
• Same products you can find at a much cheaper prices in Amazon.Com
• Multiple Class Action Lawsuits from people alleging the Monat hair care products causes significant hair loss and scalp irritation.

Is Monat A Scam Or Legitimate Way To Make Money Online?

Monat is definitely NOT a scam and there’s been mixed reviews from consumers. Some people love their products and others do not. As far as their business opportunity, you could potentially earn a living doing this because their compensation plan is ideal.

Having to earn as much as 30% along with other benefits and bonuses is something to think about but for a reason that their products are not exclusive meaning you can find it somewhere else cheaper, you would have a hard time selling let alone recruiting others to join.
