The eCom Success Academy is a platform created by Adrian Morrison, a well-known and certified Shopify mentor. His courses are geared towards creating a DropShipping business of which if done right, it can be a lucrative way to make money.

If you are not too familiar with DropShipping, it really is simple in theory but complicated in action! The way that I understand is that you basically sell a product let say $50 worth and when someone buys, you will purchase this same product from somewhere else cheaper let say $30 and they will ship it to the customer for you. The Possible Flaw Of eCom Success Academy

As much as I’d like to say I recommend this to anybody, it is actually the opposite and I suggest you proceed with caution not unless you are ready to spend money.

The initial price one time payment of $2,495 is likely not all that you are going to be spending. Why did I say this? It is because every time there is a mention of Facebook Ads, there is also a cost associated to that which is really advertising cost. It may not be a whole lot at the beginning but it certainly can add up.

The other thing is  you would probably need to buy your own subscription for an email provider so that you can effectively do email marketing and re-targeting your audience. Sure you can get the free ones but that will come with so much limitations. The starting cost for an email provider is about $19 per month.

Building your Shopify Store also comes with a cost and the basic subscription is $29 per month.

Can You Really Make Money With eCom Success Academy?

There is no doubt that you can make money with eCom Success Academy but knowing all the possible cost to get started is already something to think about twice. Chances are you will encounter a lot of these products and services in your search for ways to make money online, and my suggestion is choose carefully so that you may land to the one you are looking for.

• Requires to have a Shopify Store which can be an additional monthly cost.
• You may need an email marketing provider subscription which can also add up into your overall cost of doing business.
• Relies heavily on doing Facebook Ads which can be very expensive if not done right.

Is eCom Success Academy A Scam Or Legitimate Way To Make Money Online?

This is a legitimate training course and yes a lot of people are successful in doing DropShipping business. One downside that I can think of is that the competition is going to be fierce. This in my opinion is pretty much very similar to Affiliate Marketing.

In a dropshipping business model, you are finding buyers to buy your products and let’s say it is worth $50. Once the purchase is done, you would then go on looking for that same product from a third party at a much cheaper price let’s say $25 and the cheaper it is the better for your profit. They will then ship the item without you being bothered at all. So in this example you would gain $25 profit less shipping and handling if necessary. The downside is that you don’t always find a cheap price to maximize your profit.

In an Affiliate Marketing business model, it is pretty much similar where you get paid a commission if a sale happened. In the same example, if the product is worth $50 and your commission percentage is 20% then your profit is $10.

Which One Is Better Affiliate Marketing Or DropShipping Business?

This all depends upon your own goal, there is a downside and upside to both. In Affiliate Marketing, the commission percentage can be as low as 4% or it can be as high as 75% depending upon what you are selling.

In a DropShipping business, your profit can be high and it can also be low depending upon how successful you are finding a cheaper product.

No Matter Which Way You Choose You Will Need A Platform For Your Online Business

If you are serious about finding your way to success online, find a platform that will serve as your command center. What I mean is a system that you have full control in terms of building your own online business.
